Alright, y'all are getting Bowuigi headcanons whether you like it or not because I'm kinda bored and don't know what else to post...

When they first start dating they keep it secret for obvious reasons

Luigi fell first but Bowser fell HARDER

It didn't take long for Kamek to figure out that there was something going on between those two

When he managed to get Bowser to admit it he acted like a smug bastard tbh

He agreed to keep it from being public knowledge until Peach and Mario knew about it

Oh boy... Peach and Mario's reactions......

Peach was worried and immediately interrogated Luigi and Bowser to ensure they were both in their right minds

After she figured that Bowser was being genuine, she was supportive but very hesitant for obvious reasons

First thing she did was establish ground rules for being in the mushroom kingdom and how being a king and Luigis boyfriend didn't give him a free pass for several things

Bowser reluctantly accepted Peach's terms and conditions

Mario, on the other hand....

To say he didn't support the relationship would be an understatement

He immediately assumed his brother was being used by Bowser for another one of his plots

Then he assumed Luigi was being mind controlled by Kamek (he's just there to enjoy the trainwreck from a safe distance)

Mario immediately stopped himself after he saw Luigis sad face

Mario promised to stop saying bad things about the relationship (in front of luigi, at least)

Mario was pretty much acting like a petty bitch about the whole thing

So much so to the point where Dk (they're boyfriends because I said so) had to step in and explain to Mario that he was being unreasonably bitchy about it

Eventually, Mario had to give in, but on two conditions

Bowser had to take a quiz about Luigi at some point and had to write an entire essay about Luigi (graded by Mario, obviously)

Bowser managed to pass (to Mario's dismay)

Anyway, after that was all settled, they could go back to boyfriend things :]

Luigi found out Bowser could purr after Bowser fell asleep and Luigi gave him chin scritches

Bowser was embarrassed after he woke up and Luigi just wanted him to purr again

Bowser purrs when him and Luigi are alone together :]

Bowser legally cannot be left alone in the Mushroom kingdom without Luigi being in close vicinity to him (yes, this was one of Peach's conditions)

Since Bowser is larger than Luigi, he needs to eat MUCH more food than a normal human being does

So if Luigi wants to make something for Bowser he needs to use like 10x the amount of normal ingredients

Since Bowser is taller he takes bigger steps while walking, which means Luigi pretty much has to speedwalk or lightly jog to keep up with Bowser

Eventually Bowser notices this and just starts carrying Luigi on his shoulder anywhere they go

Sometimes Bowser will slow down his own walking if Luigi doesn't want to be on his shoulder

Okay but the one about bsf!jude and you always sitting in his lap and it’s a given imagine someone else just sits there instead and you’re a little later than everyone else and you get there and you’re just looking at Jude like???? Totally ignoring him and the girl on his lap when you say hello to everyone and your friend totally know all of them trying not to laugh because you’re just sitting on a girlfriends lap after just pouting and Jude knows he’s fucked up but he was too polite to just tell the girl to move and you can take it from there 😭😭

yeah!!! ur all hanging out and ur a little late for whatever reason and one of the girls (who definitely fancies jude) has plonked herself straight in his lap bc of the lack of space and as soon as she does it everyone else is like😐😐bc they know ur gna be annoyed when u finally show up. bc everyone knows ur in love w each other and that it’s just this unspoken rule that it’s always u and jude and no one ever really comes between that. so ur getting there and immediately seeing her in his lap and this awful feeling of jealousy bubbles up bc that’s ur thing and yeah he’s just a friend but he’s still urs and ur furious that she’s shoved her way in. glaring at jude as well bc why tf has he even allowed it?? and he knows ur pissed off and he knows he’s fucked up but the girl sat down before he could even say anything. but ur saying hello to everyone and pointedly ignoring jude and the girl bc fuck them and ur feeling petty so u sit down on one of the other guys laps. and it just so happens that jude and this guy don’t really get along bc jude knows he likes u and he hates it and now he’s glaring at u bc it’s obvious ur only doing it bc ur mad at him.

the whole time he’s glaring at u and ur pointedly avoiding his gaze, turning to whisper to ur best friend (definitely slagging jude and the girl off) and jude can see the guys hand getting a little further up ur thigh under ur dress and he’s furious. but ur excusing urself to go to the bathroom and jude is so quick to follow, half dropping the girl to the floor without even a second glance back bc he’s too busy following u. getting into a silly little argument which is basically jude calling u out for being jealous and u calling him desperate for female attention and he’s just rolling his eyes at u all “jesus christ, woman, maybe if u just admitted how u felt instead of pretending we’re “just friends” we wouldn’t be having this fucking problem” and ur staring all slack jawed at him bc??? but he’s sick of pretending ur just friends bc it’s tiring but he’s also annoyed at u for being so stubborn. so he’s throwing u this look and being like “u wna talk abt it or do u just wna keep throwing a tantrum?” and u want to smack him for calling out ur feelings and making u talk abt them when you’ve tried to hide them for so long

Kokichi being related to Ishimaru

Apolllo: All the killing games were simulations (though Junko did die. She had it set up that once she was executed, life support would be switched off and a poison would be administrated meaning she didn't have to face them for she knew it would cause despair for them not to get that sort of closure. She made sure her pod was hidden as well). Kokichi got some of his leadership skills from his cousin, one Kiyotaka Ishimaru. They have different styles sure but he still learnt most of his things from Taka. He also learnt some from both Byakuya and the Imposter (who's impressed that Kokichi somehow managed to pick up that they weren't all they seemed). It hurt all three of them though Byakuya is hesitant to admit it to see him in V3 and the way he acted during it. It hit Imposter hard because they were one of the causes behind the tragedy which ended up with Kokichi being captured.

Ves: making kokichi an ishimaru is FASCINATING was he shielded from the grandpa blowback? Apollo: He's shielded dw! Kokichi doesn't tell anyone about their connection until he gets into Hope's Peak and one of them (probably Taka) slip up and mention that they're cousins or something

Ves: being in that family's gotta give him some WILD baggage around leadership, still how's he feel about having a cop uncle Apollo: Oh it really does. Especially when he gets his acceptance letter. He's tried to be his own person but he now officially has a (somewhat) similar talent to his cousin. As for the cop uncle, it's sorta awkward because DICE aren't the most…Law abiding citizens out there Ves: the ishimarus are canonically poor as dirt bc of what happened, but there seems to be a lot of pride in not turning to ~less scrupulous~ ways of earning money. the friction DICE'd cause,,,ouch

Apollo: It's something that annoys the hell out of Kokichi. So what if he's pulling stupid pranks and occasionally petty theft? If the world finds out he's connected to them, they're gonna expect it so may as well have fun. Taka's tried to stop him but it hasn't worked. Kokichi's got it in his mind that because Japan basically hates his family, he may as well give them a reason to hate him for more than any connections he has He almost turns down Hope's Peak but DICE encourage him to go…They regret it when everything happens though He forgives them dw

Ves: 'forgives' implies previous anger apollo don't do it don't break up the clown fambly- Apollo: At first he may or may not be slightly annoyed when he first goes to Hope's Peak because who needs some stupid school? He wants to go back to the clowns damn it! Ves: ohhh i thought u meant blaming them for him getting kidnapped Apollo: No he'd never do that he blames the man who ruined his family's life lmao When he gets out and remembers everything, he's pissed off. In the game he wanted to be someone and he gets out and finds that he basically had been but it turned out horribly The others find out and expect him to flaunt it only to discover how disgusted he is with the whole thing. He prefers his poor clown family thank you very much! He is slowly improving his relationship with his cousin and uncle but it's slow

Me: what if the reason Kokichi is shielded from the association with Ishimarus because he's from Taka's mother's side of the family, and his mom (or it could be dad ig, but I imagined mom) was like "I can't believe my sister married a cop" and kept him away for the most part, not fully cutting them off, but they're distant, usually making sure to meet up without the old man there Apollo: OH HELL YES Kokichi purposely fucks with the law because A) It's fun B) He sees how much the whole distance thing is actually hurting the family C) He just wants attention from them and what better way than to end up at the station his uncle works at? Taka tries to reconnect when he realises Kokichi is at Hope's Peak but Ko keeps brushing him off despite knowing he's not to blame for everything Me: yes, cause, when I said they meet up without the old man, I definitely had them still meeting and playing together as kids, but as they got older they started to sense something is off, and their mothers don't get along as well as they tried to make it seem and instead just tried to still support each other despite their disagreements Kokichi probably had a lot of hand-me-downs from Taka when they were kids

Apollo: Imagine if that ends up making Kokichi feel worse because yet again, he's connected to the part of the family his mother is lowkey trying to make him hate or something Me: I just wanted to be silly and have Kokichi's mom say acab and be the one that gave Kokichi his values when this started Apollo: Kokichi: acab…Got it, time to break the law whenever I can Me: She just disapproves, but still loves her sister and they supported each other through rising kids Apollo: The poor kids [pensive emoji]

im sorry i didnt get to this earlier, i was waiting to be more awake but im literally getting worse LOL. but it made me so happy ;_; thank you thank you thank you, for being far too kind abt my art 😭 im so fuckingglad i finally got a tablet during my crazy ass wayhaven renaissance because there could not be a sweeter group of people to share stuff with 🫂♥️

for the oc ask… well i just gotta do dev/mason theyre in my minds microwave 24/7 rn (hope the ceiling fan falls on them btw)

some of this is a bit more association than true description of character bc i could go on forever listing stuff for both of them.. but for dev w mason it would be two big things at their current standstill:

- marlboro reds; her favourite — she is in the middle of quitting smoking in book 1 so him constantly lighting up with her cigs of choice, as well as just being rude and grating on her already thin nerves, drove her barking mad insane. by book 2 she is floundering hard and asks for one after he shows up at the station. when he says no and that she’s supposed to be quitting she gets a bit pissed and makes him put out smokes anytime thereafter out of pettiness. also reds…… strong, numbingly intense, addictive, etc. sums up the early stages of their arrangement :D

- definitely the wolf cub from the carnival game! deva is hugely sentimental (to a concerning degree — she is a hoarder yay disaster apartment option) though would never admit to it. she still keeps raggedy decades old stuffed animals from when rook was around that she just cannot say goodbye to 🤦‍♀️ and she refuses to let herself get attached to mason on any meaningful emotional level so those budding feelings in book 3 kind of manifest on the wolf cub without her realizing it (i was so glad there’s a little part abt the detective saving their carnival prize after the apartment gets flooded because Very Deva, that thang is her whole support network) (plus when mason inevitably bails during the night she has smth to cuddle because objects dont leave no sir . Rebecca get this girl a therapist)

- and one smaller thing im still playing w is red jasper crystal 🙇🏻‍♀️

maybe she sees them in the crystal store. I colour pick from these when i draw him LOL

for mason wrt deva — not an object but just straight up chaos tbh. at where they are in book 3 i imagine every time he sees the detective his brain is going question mark question mark. and hes definitely not sentimental in the way Dev is that certain objects would have any sort of emotional stir in reminding him of her. mason definitely goes more on how she makes him feel; really fucking good, really fucking confused, really fucking messy (like her apartment which he HAAAAATES), and on a few occasions now… weirdly serene. cant make sense of it; doesnt even understand why hes bothering TRYING to make sense of it but here he is and it’s happening and it has never happened before and THAT is probably the best way he could encapsulate her at this point in their relationship… other than, yknow, encapsulating in other ways 🫢

Hiiihello 👋. Finally caught up on insufferable you, and let me just say…. I’m obsessed with this fic concept. You so beautifully allow each character to explore their place in the dynamic, and the tension that we’re seeing at the moment is so natural as they adjust (or struggle to adjust, in some cases) to the new dynamic. Like in some ways, I’m actually so grateful that Rebecca and H are settled into this 5 year relationship, because I think there would be so much more unease if everything new with Kitten was compounded by Rebecca and H still figuring out their own thing. Instead, we have Rebecca who is an absolute LEGEND. So warmly inviting Kitten into the dynamic, sort of guiding the way with teasing H about the intimate moments, revealing how their relationship works. Honestly Rebecca is top tier and they’re both lucky to have her!

And of course, it is so natural for Kitten to be jealous and nervous and settling in. She’s been monogamous for her prior relationships, and suddenly there’s someone else spending time with her crush/ partner. It broke my heart a little when she was trying to rush off the phone at the beginning because H was with Rebecca and has plans, even when she apologised for calling so early. Almost as if she only “has him” when he’s in her space or physically with him, whereas H was trying to take care of his girl and show her all of the other ways he could be hers even when es not there. I just thing that moment was so responsible of him, both the checking in post scene but also trying to care for her as she struggles to adapt to this newness.

And of course, the jealousyyyy. I’m glad H can admit it was hypocritical for him not to want her to call Ethan when he has Rebecca, but we have to remember this is new to him as well. We know he has shared Rebecca with other relationships previously, but so soon after they got together? Maybe not. And maybe (we hope) he’s feeling maybe some new things for Kitten which makes his struggle a little harder. I mean, we know I love a bit of angst and I see that coming sooooon if this Ethan bit does come in. In this chapter, H literally said he knew Kitten didn’t have any other plans because she tells him so much, and so what about when he asks to meet up and she says he can’t because she actually has plans?! And he’ll realise what she means and it will be a whole “oh…oh” moment. I will be HOWLING. And I can see him sulkily being like “can we do something Tuesday or is that Ethan’s night too?”. This man is about to get jealous on a whole new level. And maybe a bit petty as well, if he doesn’t agree with Ethan’s date choices (“he brought you to a horror film? As if, you hate those things. Here, why don’t we go see X film to make up for his horrible taste?”).

Lastly I just want to say that I have seen the other asks who were not comfortable with this dynamic and I think you had very respectful responses back. It’s true that this dynamic will not be for everyone, but that is why authors notes and warning tags exist. I personally am not so into fantasy themes, so when I see an author posting a new fantasy fic, I just done read it. I have no doubts the writing is excellent, I just know personally it won’t be for me. So I do hope you continue to write this fic, as myself and others are so invested to see what happens next. As I said up top, you’ve given each character their time to explore the dynamic and I think that’s a beautiful thing.

While I was in the shower earlier, I realised that Kitty's relationship with Eleanor is surprisingly similar to my relationship with my best friend in primary school. I was Kitty, if you filled Kitty with extraordinary amounts of rage, and my friend was Eleanor. I must admit our friendship wasn't very healthy. I simultaneously idolised and resented my friend because she made me feel inadequate, like I had to prove I was worth spending time with. She was cool, she was trendy, she was sarcastic, she was judgemental, and she always seemed to have the upper hand. I would try to tell her about something I was interested in and she'd tell me it was stupid and boring. I would suggest a game to play and she would ignore me. I would be having a conversation with her and she would get all pedantic and argue with everything I said. She would randomly go off with someone else and I'd be left with no-one to talk to because I was terrible at making friends. I felt like I had to live up to her ever-changing standards and we'd both get angry when I couldn't.

I didn't realise that she was hurting me until Year Six, when things escalated dramatically and the mild teasing turned into active bullying. It went from "I'm cooler than you" to "I want you to be miserable" very suddenly, and for no apparent reason. We stopped being friends and I avoided her like the plague, but that was difficult to do because practically every girl in our class was at least well-acquainted with both of us, and I was scared I'd be ganged up on so I avoided the rest of them too. Then I got an e-mail from my friend. She was hugely apologetic and wanted to be friends again. I can't actually remember what my response was. I don't think the drama ended there, because the passive aggression and the snide comments and the poking me in the back when we were lined up continued almost until the end of the school year, but eventually the resentment faded. In Year Seven, my friend left school and moved away, and before she left she hugged me. I was honestly happy that things were changing, like we were being given a clean slate and a chance to move on. We could only communicate digitally from then on, and we haven't actually spoken to each other for a bloody long time, but I no longer consider her to be my enemy.

Why did I just tell you my life story? Because I saw a post yesterday that was complaining about Eleanor's "redemption" and saying it shouldn't have happened. Frankly I wouldn't call it much of a redemption. There's no arc to it. We don't see what happens next. We don't know if Eleanor becomes a better person after Kitty's death or if she stays the same. We don't know if she is punished for her bad behaviour or if she's rewarded for wanting to be better. Literally all it is, is Eleanor realising she fucked up and feeling remorse. That's it. Nobody tries to excuse her actions. Eleanor does give us a reason for disliking Kitty: because she thought Kitty had taken something from her. It doesn't take a genius to know that this isn't a fair reason, because Kitty has been nothing but kind to Eleanor, and Eleanor herself acknowledges this.

Considering the whole context of Eleanor and Kitty's relationship, I think Eleanor's behaviour and her feelings about it at the end make sense. It's not that they're justified, because they're obviously not. It's just that it's realistic.

Think about it: Eleanor is a bully. She and Kitty are sisters, probably of similar ages, have grown up together for at least some of their childhood, and seem to receive the same level of affection from other people. Neither of them are obviously favoured more than the other. Eleanor isn't worse-off than Kitty is, nor is she significantly more powerful. They're equals, but Eleanor feels irrationally jealous.

They're both pretty young, and Kitty's naivety and Eleanor's pettiness suggest that they're not the most emotionally mature people in the world, which is fair enough because why would they be? Eleanor's immaturity is shown in the way she treats Kitty. Her bullying is always either motivated by jealousy, as we see in the flashbacks in Something To Share?, or simply because she finds it funny, as we see/hear in the book/audiobook when Kitty's reading from her diary. Her "jokes" do sometimes go into dangerous territory, like when she abandons Kitty for hours when they're playing hide and seek, or when she pushes her into the lake, but as far as we know there is no desire to seriously hurt Kitty, only to embarrass her or to spoil things for her. That's why I think the Six Idiots made the right decision when revealing Kitty's death. They had the other ghosts originally suspecting Eleanor, which makes sense because they know she was horrible, and this just reinforces that fact for the audience, but to be honest, if Eleanor had murdered Kitty that would be a serious escalation from the childish bullying. And from a writing point of view, they'd already had a "supposedly trustworthy family member turns out to be responsible for a ghost's death" plot already in The Thomas Thorne Affair, so doing that again with Kitty and Eleanor might have come across as lazy writing. And I think it just fits better with Eleanor's character and her relationship with Kitty that she didn't kill her. Eleanor is a bully, but she isn't a monster.

Thinking about their relationship, it makes sense, at least to me, that Eleanor had a change of heart right at the end. We know that she didn't like Kitty, but they were sisters and they treated each other like sisters and Kitty never did anything to hurt Eleanor, so it's safe to assume that Eleanor's feelings about Kitty would probably be quite complicated. And considering her immaturity, it's unlikely that she fully understands them herself. I imagine the threat of losing someone you're close to would be a pretty sensible reason to reconsider your relationship with them and wish it could have been different. I don't doubt that Eleanor would have wanted Kitty to go away when she was alive, but she'd be understandably shocked when Kitty is actually dying and she realises how serious the matter is. Even if they didn't get along, Kitty has been a very significant part of Eleanor's life, and everything is going to be different without her. I think that's what Eleanor is worried about, and that's what triggers the realisation that she's been horrible to Kitty and Kitty didn't deserve that treatment.

Eleanor isn't some kind of cartoon villain. She's a person. Not necessarily a good person, but still a person. And I can tell you from experience that sometimes real-life people have an unexpected change of heart. To be honest, Eleanor's makes more sense to me because I know what caused it. My friend's apologetic e-mail literally came out of the blue. For all I know, it might not even have been genuine. I still feel hurt by the way I was treated by my friend, but I know that's in the past and I can't change it so I might as well live with it. I've forgiven my friend, because I've tried holding a grudge and it's exhausting, and I know history won't repeat itself. Things are never going to be the same between us and that's okay.

Eleanor doesn't get forgiveness. At least, not that we see in the show. Kitty thinks Eleanor was a good person but that's because she wasn't aware that she was bullying her. The other characters in the show know how bad Eleanor was and make no excuses for her. Everything she did to Kitty is clearly shown as abuse, and the closest thing she has to a redemption arc is simply her own realisation that she was wrong.

Was this plotline executed flawlessly? Probably not, nothing's perfect. And I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but I hope my argument at least makes sense to everyone. If you're unsatisfied with how the show went, I'm sorry, but the only solution I can give you is: fanfiction. Read it. Write it. Immerse yourself in it. You can do whatever you want with fanfiction. Go mad. Write the ending you wanted and don't harass the show's creators.

Cecile has gotta be one of the most bruh characters in the whole show, she literally chastizes Annette for acting all superior towards Richter and ignoring his traumas while at the same time literally saying that people like him cannot understand the trauma that slaves like them have suffered and they wouldn't care either way

It honest to God feels like someone jerked the pen from the writer's hand and added stuff of their own after the fact

Cecile's speech to Annette is the stuff of wonders. I need to copypaste it because I dare you to analyze it and make sense of it:

How can you possibly compare that? I came here for guidance. I thought I'd seen the worst evil the world could hold. But here, it's been growing roots for centuries. And this Vampire Messiah, she's older still. Cecile: Your power is old too, Annette. Annette: If these are my ancestors, Cecile, they're just a babble. Noise. They are no match for some ancient Egyptian Devil-God. Cecile: They're only a babble because you're not listening. You were shaped, Annette. Everything about you, by being born a slave. I am forced to concede the fans' point and admit that N!Isaac was written better in this regard. He didn't go around shouting "I am Black the Man!", but he told us, and one scene showed us, that the color of his skin lead him to being hunted and dehumanized, which made him bitter. Say what you want about the unfortunate implications of him being a Muslim devil-worshipper who believes he has to kill humans to purify the world, and say what you want about him being a grand pretentious cunt, but he does have a personality, however unlikable, that goes beyond his race and religion, even in S2 where he was at his flattest.

N!Annette, canonically, begins and ends at "angry ex-slave". There is nothing more about her. That's all she is allowed to be, except forced moments like her being forcibly shipped with Richter. The narrative won't even challenge her when her anger leads her to commit serious mistakes, because god forbid we show her being in the wrong. You have to find her cool, and she is cool because she is the Angry Ex- Slave.

Thank you kind anon! I will talk about a couple of my ocs here! Sorry for the late response. I ended up taking a nap after I posted lol

I was going to write about more than these 3 ocs but I realized this ended up being very long and I got shy. So sorry for this being so long!

Okay so!

Rosaylie:

●Been thinking a lot about Vice City!her. Like she makes for a good wife in crime because she was a daughter of a cartel leader and was expected to take over so it's very similar to that. She knows that Tommy is involved with crime but like can pretend she doesn't know. Crime keeps him busy though so she's often alone.

●But she is bestfriends with Ken so she spend SO MUCH time with him. She takes him around and keeps him busy (even though he's busy enough as as it is lol). No matter what universe Rosaylie is in she loves dance clubs AND they're in Vice City so of course she's going to want to spend most of her nights there. Believe it or not, once Ken gets a few drinks in him and whatever else, he loosens up some. Rosaylie only dances with Ken during these outings. And Tommy only likes her going to the nightclub(s) that are under his control, for her safety. Rosaylie doesn't listen of course and ventures anywhere and everywhere, only to get lectured by Tommy later on. She will never learn and do as she pleases :)

●She is also incredibly close to Lance. Often him and Tommy are busy though so she's doesn't see him as much as she would like. She likes when he's the one that gets to take her out on outings. He's fun and laid back. Which is a nice change of pace from Ken who is so nervous all the time, it really puts Rosaylie on edge lol.

●Lance let's Rosaylie do more than Ken does, and he's better about reminding her that Tommy will kick his ass if anything happens to her. So since he reminds her nicer (and isn't breathing down her throat about it the whole time lol) she usually makes sure to stay close and just treat the outings as a normal fun little thing. Lance and Rosaylie like to just cruise around and listen to music, enjoying the scenery. She feels calm and happy around him.

Jesús and Ernesto:

●Jesús is always getting himself in trouble. He can't do anything right. He just struggles a lot. He has a gambling problem and a drug problem and blows all his money on that. He relies on his twin brother Francisco to help him pay his bills. He doesn't like relying on his brother but he doesn't know how to stop doing all this.

●Jesús was secretly extremely happy when Ernesto said he was gonna join up with him and help him run the small gambling ring, Vito allowed him to have. Ernesto is far more responsible than Jesús and honestly wishes that he could just cut Jesús out of the whole thing. But he keeps Jesús involved and in line so he can't fuck everything up.

●Jesús owes money to everyone and anyone it seems. Which means it isn't completely uncommon for him to disappear randomly, hoping that some people will lay off of him or he'll find a way to pay them back even partially.

●Ernesto hates when this happens. Ernesto is a very angry individual. He's cold and stonefaced. It takes a lot to get him to crack a smile. Jesús brings out a pettiness in him though, so when Jesús comes back after disappearing for a bit, Ernesto gives him the cold shoulder and sometimes will only talk to him through Rosario or Vinnie (two of Vito's knucklehead underlings.)

●Ernesto only starts talking to Jesús again to make business smoother for the both of them.

●Ernesto is so deeply lonely though. Before joining forces with Jesús, he had been in prison for something he didn't do. He can't bear to look his family in the eyes, because while he was inside the family suffered a great loss and Ernesto blames himself even though no one else does. Ernesto will never admit it but sometimes he doesn't like to be alone so he attaches himself to Jesús.

can I ask your honest advices on something personal? so I get next to no communication from a now former friend, I had some hunch to ask a reader if said friend dislikes me and the answer came back as yes so I recently googled if ignoring someone or not reaching out to them via texts can count as them being jealous or having some dislike? yet they still send the bday present and xmas card or present as do I but I feel like its a cheap way when I know she practically lives online but I barely here from her so I dont really know what to do? we havent met in years and she makes next to no effort to seem interested in what im doing even if I try to take interest in herself as a friend it feels very one sided even when we used to meet up it would always be about her and never any follow up questions.

I know she has a disablity of some kind however the effort she puts into her other friends is vastly different. if she messages me its once in a blue moon and only to ask if I want to do a quiz, now I stopped checking my online profiles so much because like it seemed she was much more into what she got from others i dont want to feel desperate by constantly trying to fix whatever this "friendship" was supposed to be. do i ask her or do i wonder about it? if she dont tell me how am i gonna know what to do about it because many ppl been like her even when I was in school I was always dealing with ppl who pretended to care when they didnt. Honestly that’s an awful situation to be in. In my opinion, it’s not necessarily jealousy. She just doesn’t like you, point blank period.

Now, I can admit I’m the type who’s on my phone a lot but can sometimes miss people’s messages, and I’m not good with reaching out first. But that’s not a good behavior. And at least if she liked you she’d be interested when you’re talking, which is something I do. And she’d be there for you. And at least she could come around to responding eventually instead of flat out ignoring you and only contacting you when she needs you.

It seems like to me she’s keeping you around so she can have more people clinging to her and chasing her to fuel her ego. It’s more an ego thing than a genuine like. She does not like you. I’d bet she doesn’t even necessarily tolerate you. But she likes your attention.

She likes the experience of being worshipped and chased. Knowing she doesn’t have to try and you will just chase and follow her to the ends of the earth.

i admired them because in my eyes they seemed cool. we shared similar “alternative” interests, and they had so many stories to share. but now? i wish i could stop myself from being their friend. i hate their guts, i admit that, but maybe theres a different universe out there where i could like them. where they didnt hug me non consensually, or verbally attacked me as a “joke” (because of how much they love me 🥺), or made sexual jokes about me, or would ask repeatedly for things instead of accepting i said no, or lied pathologically, or did anything of the sort. but thats not this universe, and so in this one i can have and express that i dont like them and theyre a terrible human being. i hope you burn, but i also used to like you.

Jungkook's posts were messy and I think while his heart was in the right place, he went about it terribly. He's been in the military on a really strict base for months and friday/saturday was most likely the start of chuseok holiday break (which is why other bts members who are enlisted also posted or were out and about). I think he probably got out, saw the youtube video the girls had made and felt the need to speak up. With all love for jungkook, it reminded me of a middle schooler making a post about #kony2012 on facebook after watching one video about the matter. I feel bad for the other groups who were affected too, but my guess is that he wasn't fully educated/updated/aware of all the fallout surrounding the situation. Tbh, if he was, he would have realized how useless his post was since the artists he's saying shouldn't be used, are the same ones choosing to force themselves into the legal/corporate matter. They WANT to be tied to MHJ, they literally include her in all their demands and in their sns posts.

As for MHJ, yes she's absolutely a bad guy. Hybe is a corporation, so treat them accordingly (i.e. fuck companies because they're just out for profit), but MHJ is a whole other monster. A former ador employee is suing her because they tried to come forward about sexual harassment and she just disparaged them and called them a liar. Real messages were leaked (she admitted they were real) of her body shaming and shitting on the NJ's girls. She has a pattern of sexualizing minors and using themes of p*dophilia in groups concepts she has worked with. Based on this recent mess, there is concerns about if she groomed the NJ girls based on reports about how intertwined she was with them and their families since they were minors. And this is all on top of her trying to overthrow hybe and dragging hybe groups into the mess to get hate. She's overall a terrible human being.

Honestly I don't even know what we are debating about because. Both sides Hybe and MHJ are bad. They are both playing dirty and petty with each other. And New Jeans are in the middle of them. I feel two things can be true at the same time MHJ could have been protecting those girls for her own gain and intentions.

Meanwhile Hybe should have never hired her in the first place. She been a problem since Cookie song and everyone in Hybe brushed it off. Also if Hybe was really standing on business with her they could have beaten her in court on workplace data and complaints alone. But no you take her personal texts to court. So to me no side is good in the end of all this.

Custom Toonami Block Week 172 Rundown

Inuyasha The Final Act: So we’ve got another demon of the week but this time Naraku’s the one absorbing it instead of Moryomaru because even Sasuke looks at this guy and goes ‘damn he’s stealing a lot of other people’s powers’. Meanwhile Kikyo asks Koga to just give her his jewel shards because Midoriko’s soul is actively stunlocking him to try and get all the jewel shards in one place and she’d rather him not die from getting killed by Naraku or Moryomaru and Koga admittedly makes a good point that even aside from his vendetta he can’t be at peace if he just sits out the whole final battle after everything Naraku has done. Moryomaru swings by and all hell breaks loose as he absorbs Naraku (Koga even admits he doesn’t really expect that to stick) and Inuyasha and Koga team up on him and do a pretty cool combo attack since Moryomaru’s demonic energy is still hidden by the Fuyoheki Inuyasha instead absorbs the power from Koga’s Goraishi to basically do a small scale melee version of the Backlash Wave and since Moryomaru’s currently in the process of eating Koga there’s a direct train to his insides. Meanwhile while Moryomaru’s licking his wounds from that, Naraku pops in to tell him he hasn’t been absorbed and still has full control of all the jewel shards and is now using the tree’s power he just absorbed to re-absorb the baby because this whole time he just wanted them to run around absorbing demonic powers to try and overpower him so he could re-absorb them and get stronger like a demonic stock investor. This is really funny to me personally because I wrote an Inuyasha fanfic that had him absorbing a demonic tree way before I knew that was an actual plot point AND this whole ‘absorbing the guy that absorbed you’ thing is exactly what he does in the video game Secret of the Cursed Mask and in the second movie, like Naraku’s so predictable several source of media did it without even trying. Kagome manages to help Koga use his one get out of jail free card that comes with the Goraishi so Narkau doesn’t get his jewel shards or him but he still has the baby. The baby’s fucking petty as shit and is willing to jump out in front of Inuyasha’s adamant barrage just to spite Naraku but Naraku turns into Super Naked Diamond Naraku to absorb him. However Miroku remembers he has an OTK technique and the only reason to use it is right in front of him so he tries to just suck up Naraku which is a nice character moment because he’s literally willing to die to end this fight even though his original motivation was to save his own life, now he’ll sacrifice himself just to avoid Kohaku needing to give up his shard so Sango can be happy… as happy as she can with a living brother and a dead boyfriend I guess. Still everyone’s quick to tell him it’s not worth it even though Naraku says it definitely would’ve worked (though he is a spiteful dickbag so he may just be saying that to taunt him) so Miroku gets poisoned and all he has to show for it is destroying the Fuyoheki in the process, which I mean that’s not nothing, Naraku not having a demonic stealth device is definitely a big help but now we’re in “Miroku’s been poisoned so he has to learn not to use the Wind Tunnel too much” Arc #3.

Castlevania: We pick up around where we left off last episode with the Trio and since Castlevania is a literal moving fortress that can just yeet itself elsewhere whenever someone gets too close, the only thing Trevor can think of is going to the old Belmont house to see if all the magical shit they have can be of any use since he now has two party members that aren’t magically illiterate like him. Meanwhile Carmilla arrives for Dracula’s war meeting and immediately stirs the pot like she makes it clear she has no particular loyalty and is going to play anyone she can against each other and use politics and push peoples’ buttons to worm her way up the ladder. The hero trio fight a bunch of mook demons and the only real takeaway from this is Sypha is basically the Avatar because not only can she make spells to cast elements she can also control existing elements so anyone that has a basic elemental attack lets her be free game to throw it back which is pretty cool. We get Issac’s backstory and it’s suitably sad and fucked up and makes him whip himself like a priest which is ironic given the circumstances. Now the war council is torn between taking the strategic cities or going straight for Alucard’s party now that Carmilla is onto their plan to raid the Belmont house for cool magical shit, so yeah while they’re looking for a way to bring the fight to them, the fight is coming to them so that solves that I guess.

Jujutsu Kaisen: We get a brief glimpse of Jogo’s fight with Sukuna and it’s… not going well for him. Meanwhile Megumi gets to fight his dad for a while which is more cool Megudad shenanigans but ultimately it’s clear he can’t win so he’s just trying to not die while getting to the healing spot and doesn’t even really succeed at that because all his trap does is let Dadgumi get a look at his face which breaks the Edo Tensei spell on hm I guess and lets him stab himself with his own spear to die in piece knowing his son isn’t a pawn of the Zenin clan even though he was willing to sell him out while he was alive he’s at least glad that if he’s dead anyway Megumi doesn’t have to deal with their shit. It’s a really nice moment and almost makes me feel better about the fact that we were cheated out of Curse User Rock Lee just so he doesn’t kill Megumi. That being sad Hand-holding Sword Guy just cuts Megumi down after the fact because kicking people while they’re down is his self-proclaimed specialty. Panda and Looker from pokemon encounter some more of Geto’s goons who are more on the side of inheriting his dream than reviving Geto himself but none of that shit matters right now because Jogo is erupting several buildings like volcanos all around Shibuya at the moment. Sukuna’s having loads of fun dodging volcanoes and chopping up ol’ Krakatoa and makes Looker’s group play chicken with a meteor for the fun of it. He even beats him in a literal firefight, somehow contacting his soul on the verge of death as the remaining OG Cursed Spirits place all their faith in Mahito and he just interrupts their speech to be like ‘well that’s kind of a shitty plan, ever try just destroying shit? Always worked for me’ and gives Jogo the Stand Proud, You’re Strong meme after fucking melting his body out. So yeah, Sukuna gets contacted somehow by one of his actual retainers and hand-holding guy is attacked by a giant spirit while Megumi just kinda lays down dying.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End: It’s time to resolve Stark’s character arc, his Character Stark. He gets a quick pep talk from Fern and one from Frieren about how now that he knows and cares about the safety of the village so much he can be brave and how even Eisen was scared of giant monsters but his fear only helped him survive and get stronger. Also we get a little story about how Eisen saw Stark was so strong he just fucking decked him out of sheer survival instinct and through a combination of thinking Eisen was mad at him and Eisen being so ashamed from hitting him the two never spoke again. Still while I don’t think we get to see Stark’s full capabilities he does take care of the dragon and officially joins the party because Eisen said journeying with Frieren was a silly little time and that sounds fun. Also Stark canonically has a small penis. Next is a journey to the town that gatekeeps the north and it’s basically a wall town that’s like ‘fuck that demon shit we’re keeping all that demon shit in the north’ so they have to figure out how to get through the barrier. Fern and Stark galavant around and it’s kinda funny that Fern is just so amazed to have someone that actually wants to do things and be an active participant instead of grinding in a forest for six months for a single fucking flower and meanwhile she’s still socially inept enough that Stark has no way to read her emotional state, it’s pretty funny. I get the feeling Stark’s introduction is paving the way for a comedic focus since he seems to be the party’s butt monkey and idk how I feel about that I was really enjoying the laid-back vibe and quiet reflection but we’ll see how it goes. Stark reveals his real goal is to go on a grand adventure so he can come back before Eisen dies and give him a great story like all the ones he told him and prove he was worthy of his time and care, and that’s nice, that’s a nice goal. Meanwhile they just kinda solve the problem with everyone figuring out who Frieren is and letting her through because they assume she’s gonna go kill the Demon King’s First Order style remnant and she’s just like ‘yeah… sure, that’s what we’re doing alright’ even though they’re going for completely selfish reasons.  

Vinland Saga: So like I said last time, now that Einar and Thorfinn know Gardar’s escaped they have to decide which side of the conflict to be on. Turns out it’s not hard to find Arnheid because she’s with Snake who’s just having her do chores out in the open to lure Gardar in. Though apparently Sverkel has a hidy hole in his house and stashed Gardar in there so he’s literally right under their noses not making any noise despite being on the verge of death and Snake being this top notch guard… I kinda have some problems with this but okay. Arnheid spills her guts to the boys and Einar tells her that if she’s ready to share Gardar’s fate live or die then he will do anything he can to help her. By some act of divine providence the guy listening in on their plan is fucking asleep at the wheel and Sverkel is busy asking Snake if he would just give up fighting if given the chance to be independently wealthy, musing that slaves and warriors are just different sides of a dice roll, some real Diogenes shit and it gets to Snake for a sec but he admits he has too much pride to give up and fighting’s all he’s ever known. Meanwhile Einar puts on a hood and pretends to be Gardar like the start of the Alabasta fight in One Piece, leading off the guards but running a bit too well for a guy that’s supposed to be half dead so Snake gets suspicious and gets back in time to see Thorfinn and Arnheid loading Sverkel and Gardar into a cart to run away. Thorfinn has no choice but to break the oath of pacifism he made like two days ago in-universe and fight Snake, resolving not to kill him but Askaladd’s ghost tells him it’s not like fighting for a good reason isn’t cheating since everyone thinks their reason is good enough and the end justifies the means is a slippery slope but at the same time dude’s literally running at you with a sword and I don’t think pacifism would get very far if the answer is ‘just get stabbed bro idk’ so he takes up his classic dagger stance and prepares to fight bare-handed to risk his own freedom to defend the lives of two slaves he doesn’t know too well and help his friend.

This marks the third time from the third separate person in the last twenty-four hours that Erik and AIRika are simultaneously accused for being closer than friends, apparently. Frankly, if it wasn't for the fact this was getting really tiresome, the thespian might have laughed at the literary significance of the rule of threes, especially given how hypocritical it all was that every single one of those people had someone they probably cared about just as much and would chomp at the bit to defend just as well. But he is really sick and tired of people accusing AIRika for simply existing, and also harping on him for wanting to defend people he cared about. What made him so separate from them? Just the fact he could articulate things politely without resorting to shouting and petty insults? Manipulating people with pretty words? Was that what made the fucking difference?

Sigh. Right now, he was just severely annoyed at the pinkette two podiums to the right. Both Eureka and Eri had gotten the point of his argument against accusing blindly across, at least, so he'd simmered down from boiling point a bit ago. 

"If accusations based on assumptions are what you prefer, never mind the fact that you are, to put it, simping just as hard for Mx. Lapis and gutting me about it, then it stands to reason you will have no objection to us dropping the subject now that neither has panned out." And as much as the first source of anger had all the destruction and rage of a hurricane, the second source was the eye of the storm. Perfectly calm and placid on the surface, but bottomless in its depth. "Woe betide me to admit it, Eureka has gotten my implication that I honestly could not think of why Mx. Lapis would go through so much trouble to try and circumvent their restriction, only to be shocked if they knew something had a good chance of undoing everything they had worked for. And as I knew, and as Ae-ra has helpfully pointed out, Mx. Lapis has decent knife skills, which makes them going through this whole song-and-dance routine of sandwich-making even more suspicious in hindsight. They undercooked their fish, grated their cheese, and ate that with lettuce on bread. That is an observation, not any indication of guilt unless it means something to someone else here." 

He sighs. "I am not directly accusing Mx. Lapis because those are circumstantial evidence pieces, and therefore they should be allowed to explain for themselves before we settle on anything. I do not intend to accuse them further until they have clarified Eureka's point." And Erik will magnanimously drop the matter at that.

"In the interest of transparency about the knife situation, you all saw me with the cake knife last night. I returned that to its stand after cleaning, and it was present this morning while I was cooking. When our group re-entered the Eatery to look around, all but the one knife was still present, so I imagine it was taken sometime during the investigation." He glances at the fallen plate. "Presumably, by Eureka to make her French Toast. If it is still missing, I can at least say that I am currently not in possession of any knives from the Eatery myself."

Erik pulls out his tablet. "I cannot comment on why her purse had blood over it, but I did want to bring up the fact that Miss Murphy's final letter in the Trampoline Room had been written and rewritten with some length, and the apples had been cut into but not eaten, perhaps because she was busy writing.. I may not have known her long, but I do not suspect in this environment that Miss Murphy would willingly enter a room with someone in it to write her letter since it was not meant for anyone else to see at that point. The only two people that I think she might have been comfortable with were asleep or engaged with Erik A at the time." He means Kaguya and Byrne. "With all sincerity, I do believe she was the one who brought the cutting board and fruits to the Trampoline Room a lot earlier, which matches up with the last time Miss Danger and Ae-ra saw her depart, the knife having already disappeared by then because she took it. Whoever entered next then sparked the chain of events that led us here."

Summary: What Namra would be like when jealous

Warnings: Language

- one thing you're gonna have to learn pretty fast into your guys's relationship is to never get namra jealous

- even if it's a joke or you're fucking with her, she'll act the same as if you weren't so just do your best to avoid it in any way

- when she's jealous, she gives you the silent treatment even if you weren't the one that caused it, and will probably ignore you for a few hours until she's normal again

- but if you were to keep asking her what's wrong and if she's mad at you she would eventually tell you that she was jealous but she hates admitting it because she knows it's stupid to get jealous

- if someone were to be flirting with you and she was with you, she would most definitely speak her mind which is probably going to be insults towards that person

- sometimes she thinks it's her fault that these things happen like people flirting with you which result in her getting jealous because of how reserved she is and is shy plus unknown to the whole relationship world

- but she'll never let you know that though it's noticeable because she's even quieter and has this look of hollow sadness in her eyes

- if you were to confront her on that ^ then she'd probably deny it a lot of times before eventually cracking and most likely breaking down because of it

- please hug her and tell her it's ok if not she literally won't think that and will continue to think it's her fault 😭

- namra does care about you a shit ton, she just has no clue how to show it, but she does get better over time and learns to voice her thoughts and feelings because it's better to do that then be petty

- but if she were to get really jealous to the point she's angry she will make it known that she's with you and kiss you to prove it

- then she'll be an embarrassed mess afterwards when she comprehends what she just did but it's so cute

The First Time Namra Got Jealous:

the first time namra got jealous was at the end of english class, one that you shared and knew pretty much everyone else in the class. no one even knew that you two were dating with how on the down low you both were about it, but that's the exact reason this happened.

the bell rang, and most of the students grabbed their things and quickly rushed out to go to lunch and while you were waiting for namra to get everything, gyeongsu walked up to you.

"hey, y/n!" the boy smiled at you. "i was wondering if you were free to do something tonight?"

you turned to look at him and replied with, "oh, will the other guys be there?"

gyeongsu then shook his head, "uh no, that's uh, why i'm asking you that. you know like a...date?" he said the last word slowly.

namra obviously had been listening, and she could feel something bubble inside that she didn't know what it was. when she heard gyeongsu's last word, she abruptly stood up and stood next to you, "sorry gyeongsu, but they're hanging out with me tonight. a date, if you will." she told him before grabbing your hand and storming out of the classroom.

you were so confused as to what the hell just happened just as was gyeongsu who was left in the classroom alone until you finally realized what namra had said. "did you just tell gyeongsu that we're going on a date tonight?" you asked your girlfriend who was still dragging you across the school.

"it wasn't a lie, was it?" namra responded, continuing to walk before suddenly stopping and looking at you, "did you not want me to?" she questioned, now looking confused.

"what? no, no that's not what i meant." you said while shaking your head and free hand, "i mean i'm just...surprised, is all. i didn't think you would actually say it."

she looked at you even more confused for a few seconds until she realized that she literally just gave away that you two were dating and even worse, to gyeongsu of all people, who would immediately tell his friends and then it would go around and the whole class would know. a light blush made it's way on her face when she did realize and she looked at the ground in attempt to hide it, "i don't even know why i said it, if i'm being honest. i guess i was just mad at what gyeongsu said."

hearing what namra said make you finally understand what had happened and why, making a chuckle escape your lips which caused her to look back up at you, "were you jealous of gyeongsu asking me out?"

"what?" she asked immediately after, her eyes widening as she shook her head. "no! i was not jealous. jealousy is stupid."

you started to laugh at her response and you wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "you totally were, but don't worry baby, you're secret's safe with me." you grinned at her.

"fuck off." she rolled her eyes and pushed you away but the small smile present on her face said otherwise.

"you know you love me!" you teased, following after her when she started to walk away.

"yes, i do."

Anakin Assists the Jedi Council While On Medical Leave

AU brainstormed primarily by @atagotiak, @gelpenss, and myself.

Basically, a fix-it based in Anakin getting a peek into the daily life on the Council early, and accidentally Figuring Some Shit Out along the way, mostly because Palps Fucks Up.

So, Anakin gets injured in a way that limits him to Coruscant for a few weeks. He can still walk and talk, but he can't fight. The specific injury doesn't matter, just this:

Anakin runs errands on behalf of the council and sits in on meetings to take minutes as a "you're on medical leave but we need all hands on deck, congrats you get to be the secretary until we can send you on stabbing missions again" thing.

Also, there just aren't a whole lot of people with Anakin's clearance level. They had to send out Stass Allie to handle the mission that was originally next on Anakin's roster, and Anakin's the most convenient person to substitute into her position.

He's not super happy about this but he can more or less understand the point of it. Given that he gets antsy about needing to fight almost immediately, he can acknowledge the worth of having something useful to do, if only as the person who's writing down who says what and making sure everyone has the right file on hand.

(Besides, Obi-Wan jokes in a way that Anakin thinks might be encouraging, this is good practice if Anakin ever wants to be on the High Council himself!)

BASICALLY, Anakin is resigned to this but agrees because "Usually we have Master Allie handle this but we need her running that mission that was originally set for the 501st, so you get to fill in for her until you can switch back. Think of it as training for eventual mastery or admin or--listen, we're just really stretched thin."

Here's the key thing, though: Anakin isn't supposed to leave the Temple, for medical reasons, so Palpatine doesn't know Anakin is sitting in on Council meetings. They haven't met up since Anakin's last surgery, and because [muffled hand-wave reason] he didn't find out another way, like Anakin comming him or the Council giving him the heads-up about the change in attendance.

It's fine. He's just taking notes and doing preparatory research, he has the clearance, the Chancellor likes him anyway. Hell, they'd have had someone's Padawan doing this, before the war increased the necessary clearance levels. They'll toss in a quick message in the brief they send to Palps that he never reads anyway, and that's really all they need to do. Skywalker's getting some rounded experience and this way the medics won't be freaking out about him stressing his heart after getting electrocuted by trying to spar too early.

Palpatine doesn't talk directly to the Council, he just sends a recording the first time Anakin is there. It's a bit weird, but nothing goes wrong. Anakin's off-screen from whatever device they use to send a response, since he's not technically a member, just assisting for a bit on the part of Master Allie's duties that he's actually allowed to touch (and not the bits that are getting added to Mace, Plo, and Shaak's stuff).

The first four or so meetings are like that. Anakin starts having a bit of sympathy for the Council as he sees how many things they want to do that are hampered by the need for Senatorial approval, things that he would also want to do and didn't think required this much red tape.

About a week in, still mostly recordings with Anakin just sitting on the side playing paralegal, the wheel of fortune turns a few pegs.

Palpatine hands over a an order on the range of injury that a soldier should be treated for, "to ensure that republic resources aren't being wasted on clones that, while expensive, would actually be cheaper to replace than repair."

Oh, he dresses it up in prettier language than that. Anakin doesn't process it as such first.

The Chancellor manages to couch his phrasing in "prioritizing resources for taxpaying republic citizens and employees of the GAR," which... well.

The natborn commissioned officers pay taxes. The Jedi are employees. The clones are neither, because they're slaves.

Probably he frames it as the employees thing, very much the kinda language that sounds halfway ok unless you’re fluent in political bullshit.

And Anakin is really confused at first about why the council is upset by the order because, okay, he would PREFER to be able to use medical supplies on refugees when possible, but he understands prioritizing the soldiers?

He just looks up, totally lost, when someone groans and goes, "That's the third time this year, is he trying to get us all killed?"

And it vibes as such a genuine, aggrieved, sad reaction that Anakin is completely blindsided because it's not the sarcastic, petty resentment he kind of expected? It's just... desperate depression.

And someone gently has to explain that this is the third time they've had resources restricted to only GAR employees and that it's a polite way of saying "prioritize natborn officers, stop wasting resources on clones, we can replace them easier."

Or maybe he doesn't ask, because he's just there to take notes, not argue, and he can see the masters drawing up a response that amounts to "We would like to remind you that our soldiers do not fall into that classification, and to limit their access to our medical supplies is liable to cause a loss of life that we find unreasonably high. Please see the annotations attached to adjust wording so that the clones may receive the same level of care."

Anakin's internally just like "Yeah, that's phrased nice and addresses the main problem, Palpatine will obviously agree and change it!"

And then he comes in the next day and the response comes in and it's just dripping condescension about considering the clones actual people.

"This is why we can't use the bacta tanks on clones anymore, just the patches. We could use them at first, we had a few of the CCs get through fatal injuries with them, but they cut that off and said we could only use the tanks on Jedi and non-clone officers a few months ago. The Banking Clans keep tightening their belts on the army, and the Chancellor insists we put citizens first, and the clones aren't citizens. We've been arguing back as much as we can, but he keeps going on about the economy and we can't... we just can't, Skywalker. We're trying to save as many of our men as we can, but..."

Something like "Allocation of resources reiterated, the Kaminoans have assured the senate that the Jedi are far from exhausting the resources ordered."

And Anakin's like. He can't blame the council for lying about Palpatine's past or future actions. He just saw Palpatine's actions. Those actions were to order people under his control to throw away lives he saw as replaceable commodities.

These are his friends' lives.

His soldiers are being thrown away by a man in a tower that he trusted.

And then that man has the gall to suggest it's the council's fault.

Palpatine is good at what he does, especially in public, he dresses it up in flowery language and everything, but Anakin's just like "Those are my FRIENDS and also this is??? How slavers talked about their property on Tatooine???? FRIENDPATINE, WHAT THE FUCK."

Anakin can be passive aggressive sometimes as well as outright aggressive. So if he brings up the guidelines and why they make him upset in general terms, and Palpatine says something about how he’s sad the council doesn’t care about the clones...

Anakin, internally, having just watched the council scramble to save as many clones as possible within the guidelines that Palps handed down: Uh-huh.

(Anakin is just the gay horror teeth gif from queer eye.)

Just. “Yeah, funny you say that, Palpatine! Because as I remember, you told the council not to waste more resources than necessary while Mace Windu was arguing to expand the treatment range!”

Palps doesn't even have time to salvage the situation or attack Anakin because Anakin just bulldoze rants for fifteen minutes and then storms out.

Anakin... maybe does a little treason and gets a copy of the orders so he can ask Padme "Hey, can you explain the politics of this?" and doesn't tell her who wrote it so she isn't biased (he tells her that this is why he's not sharing the author's/speaker's name), and just lets Padme pick apart all the 'this is a nice way of saying they don't view the clones as people' details.

Alternately, someone on the Council sees Anakin dithering and manages to get him to admit that he's not great at political language and wants to ask someone to help him understand the full implications. The person--Mace? let's go with Mace--is aware that Anakin is on good terms with Senator Amidala, if not necessarily aware of the depth of said relationship. Mace points out that he's probably going to be seeing her soon just because he usually does and, as a Senator, she can get easy access to these sessions since they're not about specific missions, just allocation of resources, etc. It's not an optimal solution, but she's got a bit more free time than anyone else Anakin knows with the clearance levels, like Order members that are actively involved in the war effort.

Anakin dithers and panics and Mace, trying to be helpful, tells him that plenty of Jedi have made friends among the Senate over the years, didn't you know Qui-Gon Jinn was a personal friend of Former Chancellor Valorum?

At any rate, Anakin goes to Padme and asks her to explain it to him, because she knows how to phrase things so he gets it.

Anakin has to have her pause and he goes outside and destroys some things halfway through.

(Anakin maybe thinks back to the times Padmé or Obi-Wan were really obviously frustrated and when he asked, they said stuff like “I can’t stand Palpatine rn, sorry Anakin I know he’s important to you and you don’t want to talk about politics, let’s just talk about something else.”)

(Obi-Wan: I don’t trust Palpatine Anakin: you just don’t like politicians in general Obi-Wan: yes that is also true)

(Obi-Wan does like Bail and Padme but he does also talk a bit about how politicians generally aren’t to be trusted.)
